Where overseas websites get stuck

A translated page is not yet a Japan-ready growth channel.

Search behavior, decision criteria and trust signals change by market. We identify the gap before you spend on a full build or campaign.

01

Search demand is unclear

Your global keywords may not match how Japanese buyers describe the problem or compare providers.

02

The page feels translated

Literal copy can miss the context, proof and detail Japanese prospects need before they contact you.

03

The next action is not obvious

Forms, CTAs, pricing and sales paths often carry avoidable friction when they are reused without localization.

Fixed scope · fixed price

Decide what to do next before committing to a larger project.

The Snapshot turns your current website and Japan plans into a short, prioritized action plan. It is designed for asynchronous work and a low-risk first engagement.

Who you work with

Daiki Kamada, founder of SuzuLabo

Your inquiry goes to Daiki Kamada (鎌田大輝), and the reply comes from him. He founded SuzuLabo and is responsible for the Japanese research, writing and pages we deliver. You work with him in English, or in Japanese if your team prefers.

  • He reviews fit, asks up to three clarifying questions where needed, and sends the scope and quote in writing.
  • He leads the Japanese keyword research, page structure and copy.
  • His byline appears on a Japanese SEO article we wrote for EngageLab (Aurora Mobile); the publisher added it on 9 October 2026. The case study shows how that work ran.

Why SuzuLabo

One view across search, AI visibility, content and conversion.

Japanese search expertise

We review Japanese search results, buyer language and selected AI answers, not only translated keyword lists.

Execution after the diagnosis

Japanese landing pages, bilingual websites, SEO content and advertising can be scoped after the first review.

A practical network in Japan

When a project needs additional production or specialist input, we can help identify and coordinate suitable local partners.

A written workflow

Questions, decisions and deliverables are written down, so they can be forwarded to head office, quoted from and approved.

Quoted to scope

The free review is how we scope and quote. It covers your public pages and the question you send us. It does not include keyword research, competitor or Japanese search-result analysis, AI search testing, a technical audit, a prioritized action list or a 30-day roadmap. That work is the Snapshot.

FAQ

Before you send an inquiry

Can we start before we have a Japanese website?

Yes. We can review your existing English website and identify which Japanese pages, proof and search topics should come first.

What if our website is not live yet?

You can still start. Describe what you are building in the form, and put whatever is public in the website field, such as your current English site or a product page. If nothing is public yet, say so in that field. Once we reply, you can send the files or a preview link by email.

Can you work from HTML or design files instead of a live site?

Yes. We can start from HTML files, a staging or preview link, or design files. Tell us how the final page will be published, for example through your CMS or on a static host. We will return the work in the form that fits: edited HTML, or Japanese copy in a shared document. The quote will say which of the two you receive.

Do we need an online meeting?

No. The fit review, the Snapshot and any implementation are all handled by email and in shared documents.

Which languages do you support?

English and Japanese: you can work with us in either. You can also write to us in Korean through the Korean page, and translation into other languages can be arranged case by case.

Can you help with visibility in ChatGPT and other AI search experiences?

Yes. We can review crawl access, current AI-search visibility, company and service information, original evidence and content structure. This work is sometimes called GEO, AEO or LLM optimization. We treat it as an extension of sound SEO, not a separate hack, and we cannot guarantee a mention or citation.

Do we have to buy the Snapshot to work with you?

No. If you already know what you need built or improved, describe it and we will scope and quote it at no charge. The Snapshot is for the case where the priority is not yet clear, or where a decision needs evidence from live Japanese search results first.

How much does implementation cost?

It is quoted per engagement. A single Japanese landing page and a multi-page bilingual site with an ongoing content programme are not comparable, so we price from the pages, work, deliverables and timeline involved. You receive the scope and price in writing before any work starts, and feedback on drafts is handled within that agreed scope.

How do we pay?

After confirming fit and scope, we send a secure Stripe payment link. The US$250 total fee is paid in advance. Stripe may display an equivalent amount in your local currency, and the exact amount is shown before payment.

What if the Snapshot is not useful for us?

You may request a full refund at any time before delivery or within seven calendar days after delivery. Email us within that period; no detailed explanation is required.

Can you guarantee rankings, leads or sales?

No. We provide evidence-based recommendations and execution support, but search rankings, traffic and commercial outcomes depend on many external factors.

Will our information remain confidential?

Inquiry and project information is handled for delivery and communication. We do not publish a client name, results or work product as a case study without permission.

Start in writing

Tell us what you want to achieve in Japan.

Share a URL and a few details; if the site is not live yet, say so. We will review fit and normally reply by email within one business day.

Request a written review

This is an inquiry, not a commitment to purchase. We will reply with fit, scope, next steps and, if you need implementation, a quote. There is no charge for that reply. Fields marked with are required.

What would you like us to review?

    Select all that apply (optional).

This helps us recommend a realistic scope. The US$250 Snapshot has a fixed scope.
